I had my first non-incisional suture surgery in middle school, had incisional ptosis correction at 17, and had incisional ptosis correction once more at 20. The 4th surgery seems to have been about 3 years ago, and this is a review of that last surgery. The reason for my first eye surgery was uneven eyes + aesthetic correction, but all the revision surgeries were mainly to correct uneven eyes. But honestly, my whole face is asymmetrical, and because I kept trying to force correction, after the last surgery I ended up with thick overcorrection. (Looking back, during the consultation the doctor said the surgery would be noticeable, but because I was young, I naively thought it would just mean the incision line would show when I closed my eyes.) So the 4th surgery was largely for reconstruction, and I searched and searched with the thought that this would truly be my last eye surgery before I went. First, my needs were 1. I hoped the double eyelid would not become thick 2. I hoped the surgery would take my uneven eyes into account 3. I hoped the in-out line of the eye would not be thicker than the back line Since I had already had ptosis correction and the line was set as in-out, I couldn’t have a smaller double eyelid line, and there was a possibility that the in-out line area could become wider. So I focused on that part and even found example photos on my iPad to explain it during the consultation. The doctor said he understood and would do it. During surgery, I think I literally opened and closed my eyes about 200 times. They are not eyes that look as surgery-free as before, but for the eyes I had at the time, they were corrected to the point that I think it was the best possible result, and I plan not to touch them again.
