Review of intraoral minimal-incision cheekbone surgery + fat grafting in 2010

In 2010, I went for a consultation at a plastic surgery clinic because I wanted to get double eyelid surgery and a nose surgery, but I was told, "The problem is your face shape." So I suddenly changed direction. (In the past, I had a face shape similar to Jia, formerly of Miss A...) The director who consulted with me recommended intraoral minimal-incision cheekbone surgery and minimal-incision square jaw surgery under the chin, and I was going to proceed as recommended, but for that square jaw surgery, surgery was only possible 2 weeks after getting Botox, which did not fit my possible surgery schedule, so for the square jaw, I just got Botox, and decided to proceed only with the cheekbone surgery together with autologous fat grafting. Right after surgery, I didn't have much pain or discomfort, just a somewhat hollow/numb feeling around the cheekbones. Because I had cheekbone surgery, my mouth only opened about as wide as a yogurt spoon, and I think that was almost the only inconvenience. Since I had fat grafting at the same time, I couldn't use warm or cold compresses, so I worried that the swelling might not go down quickly, but I'm not the type who swells easily, so I went to work just two days after surgery. (Of course, my coworkers knew I was getting plastic surgery.) And originally, I tend to walk briskly about 5 km a day, and I recover very quickly, so from 2 weeks onward, my mouth opened enough to put in a whole boiled egg sideways, and I could eat meat right away too. From the second week, there was no sign on my face at all that I had surgery. Even acquaintances could not tell at all that I had surgery. Maybe it was because the incisions were so small, just one stitch each on the left and right inside the upper lip.. People say that doing cheekbone surgery through the mouth causes a lot of cheek sagging, but I think it depends on the case. For me, it has been a full 8 years, and I have no sagging at all. My impression definitely became softer, and I learned that cheekbones really have a huge effect on how you look in photos.
