About 3-4 years ago, I got jaw Botox and contour injections. My face did get smaller, but there were just as many side effects I especially didn't have much cheek fat to begin with. But in that state, I had jaw muscles and fat only around my jaw area (the worst face shape). So I got Botox and contour injections (under the chin, and the area below the ears where the muscles are), and my face really did get smaller. But the problem was that my cheeks became hollow, so my face turned into a peanut shape. Only my cheeks were sunken, so I looked kind of like a skull too When I make an expression lifting the corners of my mouth, my cheeks lift up so it looks okay, but if I just relax my face and stay expressionless, I look completely old. And Botox made my nasolabial folds show more clearly... As the masseter muscles shrank, the nasolabial folds became deeper, so even when I put on makeup, foundation settles into them. It's still like that now It has gotten a bit better, though... So what I want to say is, if you don't have much cheek fat, I think you should think it over a bit whether it's contour injections or Botox.
