My double eyelid surgery failed

Have you tried any swelling-reduction care after surgery?? How about trying a 1-hour walk twice a day? Try a low-sodium diet too.. They say pumpkin juice is good too, so try drinking 2 a day.. Try taking one One Quick swelling-reduction supplement every day too.. Cold compresses twice a day too… Contact the hospital and if you can get scar laser treatment, let’s get it I think it wouldn’t be bad to wait just until exactly 2 months. It must be stressful because the mucous membrane is everted

[@2103250] Yes.. They said it would disappear with time, so I’m just going to say I want to get scar-tissue injections or laser.. They said if the swelling is this bad at one month, revision surgery is needed..

[@액체괴물] From what I can see, the eyelid area looks like swelling, and I think it'd be good to watch it for up to 2 months. And since you said the front part stings I think it's inflammation. Applying ointment would probably be the most direct... Be careful not to let water get in, and I think applying ointment would be best. Or it might be better to go in person to one plastic surgery clinic / one ophthalmology clinic and ask..! For ophthalmology, call and say you had cosmetic surgery, and ask whether they can examine you to see if it's inflammation..!

[@2103250] No I'm in the same situation too.. Depending on my double-eyelid surgery results next week, I might end up worrying a lot too It's my first surgery too, so I'm anxious.. For now, the red area definitely looks like inflammation unrelated to the cosmetic surgery! An injection would probably be good too, but I personally tend to like medication I think it would be good to apply ointment consistently with a clean cotton swab. And swelling really varies so much from person to person, so setting aside the plastic surgery clinic's position, I think it would be good to watch it for up to 3 months. With incisional surgery, swelling varies hugely.. If you keep managing it consistently, I think you'll worry less! But actually, they say swelling also differs depending on the director's skill.. though they also say you can't ignore individual constitution. Try taking the supplements I wrote above too.. Just endure it up to 3 months at most Overall, it feels like the swelling still hasn't gone down yet.

[@2103250] I think it would be better for the swelling to go down first before scar laser treatment + since the red area looks like inflammation, I recommend looking into an ointment and applying it every day..!! Something like an antibiotic ointment..!

Oh no... Since they say it's swelling, you should wait and see for now, but for one month post-op, it's pretty swollen and the mucous membrane is everted. Do you maybe eat salty food?

[@액체괴물] For now, try eating a bit less salty, buy and take some swelling medicine as a mental-health expense... Try things like pumpkin juice too. If you touch it again for no reason, it could get even worse, so if the clinic says it's swelling, the best thing is probably to try to reduce the swelling
