3-month review after double jaw surgery

Do people get double jaw surgery for cosmetic purposes? I don’t think that’s really the case. It’s not that it has no cosmetic effect. But what I mean is that double jaw surgery is too major a surgery to view only in terms of cosmetic effects. It might be better to look into facial contouring instead. I was told that my jaw and, later on, chewing would become a problem, so I got double jaw surgery. What I felt after the surgery was that I had never had my face swell this much before, so it was scary.. I wondered if something had gone wrong.. My face tends to swell easily anyway, so I think it swelled even more. Now, most of the major swelling in my face has gone down, and there’s just a little bit of minor swelling..? left, but when I look at my face, I think it really was a surgery I needed. When I look at my jaw from the side, I can see that it changed a lot. Before, people even said it looked like a crescent moon.. My jaw used to protrude.. Chewing has also become much more comfortable compared to right after surgery. If someone asked me, would you go back to before surgery and get it again? I would definitely get it, but if you’re ordinary and simply thinking, I just want to look prettier, I’m certain this isn’t a surgery you can think of that lightly.
