I’ll share a very detailed review It’s been 3 weeks since I had revision double eyelid surgery, under-eye fat repositioning, and lateral canthoplasty This isn’t a post telling people who weren’t planning to do it that they should, but I’m writing this because I wanted to explain things in detail for those who have already decided to do it There really weren’t many detailed reviews about lateral canthoplasty I organized it by category!! The post is a bit long <Consultations> I’m the type who’s full of desire to get everything perfect in one go.. so I think I visited about five places this time? I really didn’t want another revision surgery, and honestly it’s so hard to save up money for this.. But at most clinics, if they were good at under-eye fat repositioning, they weren’t good at revision double eyelid surgery; if they were good at revision surgery, they couldn’t do lateral canthoplasty, things like that?? I searched like crazy with one belief: I absolutely, really had to go somewhere that was good at all three Compromising on even one thing was absolutely not okay, it’s my face;; On top of that, I’m just an ordinary college student paying for it with money saved from part-time work, so it couldn’t be excessively expensive either.. the price had to be reasonable too Because I searched really carefully and strictly, I eventually found a clinic that fit me perfectly When you go around for consultations, don’t look into things casually; really check everything thoroughly until the end Anyway, when I went, neither the doctor nor the consultant felt like they were pushing excessively or just giving me a rough, careless consultation Also, something I considered important was the atmosphere as soon as I walked in. Seriously, this is really important Some places feel chaotic like a marketplace when you walk in, and you can tell they’ve clearly overbooked consultations; other places only take a set number of appointments per day I think this alone is really important As soon as I went in, it was quiet and calm, and it wasn’t packed with people They saw me right at my reserved time without any waiting!! That was very good. These days, when you go for consultations, everywhere acts like waiting 1 hour is basically standard;; And another important thing was whether the consultant could answer the things I was curious about Honestly, the consultant isn’t there to be a salesperson or to pressure me into paying a reservation deposit!! At the very least, if I ask something I’m curious about, they should be able to answer But unlike other places, they explained well how the surgery would be done and seemed to know all the details thoroughly And during the consultation with the doctor, the consultant wrote down everything the doctor said next to us, so there was no chance of missing or forgetting what I discussed with the doctor Ah I don’t know, they were so thorough, calm, and it felt like they didn’t just accept people recklessly, to the point where I thought the place where I had my first surgery must really have been bad I’m seriously saying, don’t just do it anywhere.. Ha, I have so much I want to say that this is getting too long <Under-eye fat repositioning> First of all, for people considering under-eye fat repositioning, please, I seriously highly recommend it It’s just my number one satisfaction, just.. just.. my face truly got prettier and cleaner in a way that doesn’t look obvious No one knows what I had done, but they just think I got prettier and more youthful!!!!! My parents also don’t know what I did, but they think I got prettier I honestly think under-eye fat repositioning is something I’ll never regret for the rest of my life It’s really so good But among revision double eyelid surgery, lateral canthoplasty, and under-eye fat repositioning, the swelling from under-eye fat repositioning was the biggest It varies by person, but for me, the major swelling was all gone after one week But since it varies by person, anyway I’m very very very satisfied People who have under-eye fat will know, but depending on the lighting, you worry the under-eye fat will stand out, your confidence totally drops, and you care about the lighting, you know what I mean? That just completely disappears.. <Lateral canthoplasty> I was seriously terrified of lateral canthoplasty even on the day of surgery I mean, there’s kind of a lot of talk about lateral canthoplasty.. like you won’t be able to smile with your eyes, the eyes will stick back together.. scar tissue will form, etc.. It’s only week 3, but so far none of that has happened. I just became someone whose eyes look naturally widened From the start, before surgery, the consultant and doctor explained in detail that at their clinic, the lateral canthoplasty method is done this-and-that way, so I didn’t need to worry about it healing into a ㄷ-shape, and that reassured me It’s just very natural.. just.. I think the lateral canthoplasty turned out amazingly <Revision double eyelid surgery> They just made the line exactly the way I wanted The maximum prettiest line possible for my eyes + the points I mentioned I think they considered both But aside from the line, there’s just no swelling After the surgery, the nurse told me the doctor performed it with as little bleeding as possible I think that’s real, because even though it was revision surgery, I had no bruising at all and almost no swelling Of course, I also worked hard on swelling care, but I’ll try posting swelling-care tips later I dunno, it might seem a bit much because I’m only praising them But what I’m grateful for, I’m grateful for.. it was also the cheapest among the places I consulted at.. and it just finished so smoothly without any issues.. <Immediately after surgery to 1 week> The swelling from under-eye fat repositioning felt like it gradually moved downward?! Because of the lateral canthoplasty, I did get quite a lot of eye discharge, but conjunctival edema? I didn’t get that And the clinic also provided swelling care Anyway, even if I went back, I’d do it again Especially because my under-eye fat was such a complex for me, so I’m happy Still, I don’t think I’ll touch any other areas now
