After having the intraoral stitches removed, the recovery speed has been getting faster and faster! They said it is good to wear the compression band consistently for a long time, from 3 months up to 6 months, so I wear it for 2-3 hours every day whenever I have time. The swelling also seems to have gone down a lot now, except around the mouth and lower face! After the one-month mark, I started mainly with soft foods and ate mostly noodles, fried rice, and risotto. Around the two-month mark, I can now eat regular meals comfortably too! It is still the recovery period, so I cannot chew heartily like before, but I am chewing gently and softly. I heard that gaining weight after facial contouring is not good for managing the face shape, so I am steadily and diligently dieting so I do not gain weight haha. People around me all say my face shape has gotten much prettier! I heard at work today too that I got prettier, so I felt good. But more than the reactions around me, my own satisfaction is really high. When I take photos, my face comes out slim and pretty, and since my facial line has become prettier, any styling suits me well, so once again I thought I was glad I had the surgery. Also, originally I had small clam-shaped eyes + cat-like eyes, but after the cheekbones disappeared, my eyes changed to feel a little more opened? So my satisfaction is 100 times higher.
