Incision or natural adhesion...

I’m in recovery after incision surgery. Even if I make a double eyelid with double tape or double-crease glue in daily life, if it never forms at all, incision is recommended… Even though bruising and swelling are not completely gone yet after incision (it’s week 2), both buried-suture and natural adhesion are very person-dependent, so it would be hard to compare swelling properly… I’ve seen many cases where double-eyelid folds become loose/unrelease, so I chose incision. But if I think about revision surgery, they said buried-suture might be better.

[@미쥬라도넛] This is what I also learned after visiting many places and studying double-eyelid surgery, but I saw that even in my own eyes I didn’t have much orbital fat. There are two reasons why a double eyelid doesn’t form naturally: first, too much fat in the eye area; second, the eye-opening muscle is tight/firm (they said it’s “thick”). I was in the latter. So, even though I made one side a double eyelid for 10 years with tape + glue, that side formed, while the other side never formed, so I had double-eyelid surgery. I think you may also be one of these two types. Because double-eyelid surgery itself is surgery, it may look fine for the last few years, but it could still relax after 5 years. Looking at successful cases among people I know, for it not to reopen even after 5 years you should choose a place that can keep it stable that long. I think the chance of reopening may be lower with incision, so that’s why I chose it. From my own feel, incision seems right for everyone here.

[@미쥬라도넛] I visited a total of six places before surgery. Going through six places made me feel like I’d learned about my own eyes, so I’d recommend checking more than six! I ran around intensely for two days, and it actually made me more confused, but I ended up doing mine at the place where the consultation went best.

ㅇㄹㅇ, ㄸㅋ even incision can be done well, right?! There are simply many more reviews about natural adhesion, but there are many people here who had revisions done with incision too!!

From the places you’ve already checked, it seems okay to narrow it down. Pick two places, two at a time, and go visit.

You’re choosing now without even visiting around first? Surgical method differs by each person’s skin condition, so start by checking a few places, two at a time. Even though natural adhesion is very common, if the skin is thick, incision can still be recommended. I chose the one I did because they said both could be done without incision. If not, I would’ve checked even more clinics first.

It seems like I’m always worried about the incision method.

I also have a revision consultation scheduled, but ㅍㄹㄴ, natural adhesion seems to have a lot of revision reviews too, so I booked it! I want to do revision with natural adhesion. If they say I have to do incision, there’s no choice.

I just checked the chest and then looked at the eyes, but I don’t think that dense, incision-specific feel is there. I knew all three had ㅈㅇㅌ ㄹㅎ, but ㄹㅂㄹㅇ also seems to be incision with a natural look, right..?
