It’s been exactly about 3 years since I had it done! The hospital was a private clinic and not an eye-specialized clinic. I had epicanthoplasty + incision done. The director said that if I did the buried-suture method, they wouldn’t be able to create the shape for me... They said that with incision, they could shape it into the line I wanted, so I did incision. But because it’s incision, there are scars when I close my eyes. The swelling definitely went down slowly My bruising also went away slowly, so I took vitamins separately. By around 6 months, almost all of it had gone down, and it’s stayed that way until now. There are many people whose swelling from incision takes even longer to go down, so don’t worry too much! I didn’t take anything like pumpkin juice separately; I only took the medicine from the hospital and vitamins. I did sleep sitting up for a few days (I propped up 2 thick pillows and slept leaning against them).
