I had surgery in February 2022, before the clinic moved. It was a revision surgery, and although the clinic was famous among people getting revision rhinoplasty, the only reviews were two or three bad ones, which made me wonder. Still, I felt a strange sense of trust in the doctor, who had a bit of an eccentric vibe, so I had surgery without even going to consultations elsewhere.
The conclusion is that the surgery went well. My face became refined. I had rhinoplasty, but my nose does not stand out at all. It looks natural and ordinary in a good way, with just the right amount of height, and it harmonizes well with my overall face, giving me a natural refined look.
At first, it didn’t even look like I had surgery and no one noticed. Anyone who has had surgery here will know, but the area where ear cartilage was harvested hurts a lot.. After going through all that, no one noticed, so I was upset. But once all the swelling went down, the overall feeling of my face subtly changed, so people didn’t know I had my nose done, but said I somehow became prettier and more refined.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to dislike obvious signs of surgery, so I’m actually much more satisfied now.
Dr. Hwang has an outstanding aesthetic sense and excellent surgical skill. I feel like I can live with this nose for the rest of my life without worrying about revision surgery.
The downsides are that rhinoplasty is done under local anesthesia, which is scary, and the swelling is intense. Also, there was a period when it was uncomfortable to breathe through my nose, but over time, the airway that had temporarily narrowed opened back up, so it is fine now.
