Eye Surgery Reviews

Grim review from a community

This was 10 years ago. I wanted to put in anterior cheekbone implants, so I went to a clinic for a consultation, and the doctor said they wouldn’t do it unless I removed my under-eye filler. I wanted the implants so badly that I had the surgery despite the consultant trying to dissuade me. From 2 weeks after surgery, my eyes stung and hurt so much I thought I was going crazy. Then I went to the clinic and saw that the area under my eyes had flipped outward. In medical terminology, ectropion. The eversion was so severe that I looked like a monster, and I even developed social avoidance. Since then, my eyes don’t close completely, so I have dry eye syndrome, and I’m scared of surgery, so I’ve only been agonizing over it. Don’t decide on surgery too impulsively like I did; I hope you all do more online research and visit more clinics in person before deciding carefully.
