My appointment was at 2, but somehow I arrived around 1:30. I was planning to wait 30 minutes, but even though it was the director’s lunch break (I guess the timing happened to work out!), they came out and gave me a consultation. (There was none of that particular high-handed attitude doctors can have.) In my case, my facial features are gathered inward, my eyes have Mongolian folds at a right angle, and the distance between my eyes is narrow, so they said I had no choice but to do an inline double eyelid with the buried suture method. For my nose, they honestly told me it was already high, so there was no need to do it, and since I have a lot of fat, it seemed like it could be contoured with contour injections. Also, I wanted lip filler, so I asked about filler too, but they said my eyes and nose are already on the flashy side, so if I get filler I’d end up looking like “auntie plastic surgery,” and they talked me out of it lol haha It seemed like their motto is to do surgery naturally with a very refined feel. When talking with me, they often used expressions like “this would look elegant”! They clearly said yes if it was yes and no if it was no, and there was no pressure or anything like that at all. The nurses were also very kind, and when I was leaving after finishing the consultation, I had asked about the earliest surgery schedule, and they kindly explained that if a possible surgery date gets set right away, I should refer to this precautions note and prepare before coming They were really kind and good! I’ll probably get my double eyelid-related additional treatment at the hospital where I previously had surgery, but once my double eyelid surgery heals, I plan to go back and make a reservation for non-incisional lateral canthoplasty!
Oh, one thing you should know is that they explained that if you upload public photos to a plastic surgery community, you get a discount of about 200,000 won! I refused and got the price as paying the full amount, but if you receive the discount, other people will probably be able to get surgery for more than 10% cheaper than my estimate~
