I had nose surgery in 2016. The director confidently said they would make it suit me beautifully and that simply making it higher would just make it a big nose, but my nose just became a big nose, and since around last year the tip started to droop and now it’s slightly contracted, so I’m looking into removal. The silicone is also crooked, there is some visibility, and it moves under the area below the glabella. I went back to the clinic because I felt contracture, and they said my nostrils were originally visible and that the silicone only looked crooked because my original nose was crooked, and then they said they would remove it and fill it with autologous dermis. When I asked whether there was anyone at this hospital who had undergone surgery with autologous dermis and whether I could see photos, they said why would there be such a thing. So now I’m full of anxiety and I never went back. I’m currently looking for a removal clinic. In other people’s comments I saw that they were told they needed a lift? I was told that too when I first went for a nose consultation, that I needed a forehead lift because I open my eyes with my forehead.. I was in my early 20s then. But after this surgery, when they told me my nose looked crooked and my nostrils were visible because that’s how my nose originally was, I really had nothing to say..
