5-year review of non-extraction orthodontic treatment

Personally, if you're going to get orthodontic treatment, I recommend extraction orthodontics. If the only issue is tooth alignment, non-extraction can be fine, but in cases like mine with a protruding mouth, it doesn't get resolved the way you want I'm looking into clinics with the thought of getting re-orthodontic treatment after extractions. Even if you call it a side effect, once you've already had orthodontic treatment, your gums inevitably get much worse, so if you're going to do it anyway, I recommend extraction orthodontics.
