First of all, my eyes were recommended incision surgery plus ptosis correction as the default option at every other clinic. But both the doctor and the manager who were listening behind me strongly tried to dissuade me, saying that my eyes are just covered by skin and I don’t need ptosis correction at all... I decided to have surgery because they said I didn’t need ptosis correction. I was recommended an in-out line / 12-hole natural adhesion + upper canthoplasty. When I asked whether I could skip the lower canthoplasty, they said it would still be fine to decide after some recovery following double eyelid surgery, so I thought it was a pretty honest clinic. The doctor also examined my eyes carefully and helped shape the line.
The manager was incredibly, incredibly, incredibly kind... Since the managers at other clinics had all felt like AI robots, this was honestly moving.
