About 10 or 9 years ago, I had non-incisional double eyelid surgery and lateral canthoplasty. My double eyelids were uneven, so I only had one side done. I remember the lateral canthoplasty cost 1.2 million won and the double eyelid surgery 500,000 won, for a total of 1.7 million won. The doctor was chic and the type to clearly say no to what can’t be done. He said it’s not that there would be no effect if I did it, but my eyes wouldn’t get that much bigger. He said the outer corners would go down, so I’d look softer than now. At first, because of overcorrection, my eyes looked bigger, but now, 10 years later, it’s exactly the feeling he described. Still, my eyes did become very slightly...... more open-looking. I don’t recommend it for people who pursue glamorous eyes, but if you want natural and safe-looking eyes, I recommend getting a consultation. For a few years after surgery, I very occasionally had a tingling feeling near the outer corner of my eye, but I’m still living well with no particular problems. I already had severe dry eye, so it didn’t get worse. For the double eyelid surgery, I asked for an in-out fold, and he said okay but gave me an inline fold... So my eyes became uneven lololol Nobody knows I had surgery. Because they’re uneven, people notice even less. Anyway, the doctor has a bit of his own strong preference. His skills are about as good as his reputation
