I made a reservation, and since I thought I’d be a little late to the appointment time, I called to say I’d be late, but even so I waited a lot. I went after choosing the surgeon I wanted to consult with, but the manager asked me who I wanted to consult with, which I found odd. The doctor had just finished surgery and looked busy and overwhelmed doing consultations for several people. Still, it didn’t feel unfriendly, but when I said I was definitely planning to do one surgery and was still debating another, he just brushed over the confirmed one without any detailed explanation, saying basically I could just do that one, and then he gave a rushed explanation of the part I was unsure about and left, so the consultation wasn’t long. The manager explained that they normally spend a lot of time, but were doing it that way because they were busy? I talked with the manager for a long time, but more than half of it was just small talk unrelated to surgery.
