Nose Surgery Reviews

Review of Kim In-jung

A long time ago, I had only my columella + nasal tip done with no implant, using ear cartilage. No side effects at all, and I’m very satisfied. The biggest advantage is that it harmonizes well with my existing face, looks natural, and feels comfortable. There’s no discomfort or foreign-body sensation at all, and it’s so comfortable that I still haven’t fixed my habit of sleeping with my nose buried in the pillow... Right after surgery I was nervous, but after about half a year? When I wake up in the morning, at some point I’m waking up with my nose buried in the pillow like before

Anyone who wants an obviously operated-looking nose or a glamorous nose may feel disappointed, but I highly recommend it for people who want a natural improvement, or people who are sensitive and can’t tolerate discomfort or a foreign-body sensation. If comparing to celebrity noses, I think you can imagine a feel like Suzy, Jung Chaeyeon, or Sullyoon. It’s absolutely not the kind of sculpted doll-like Instagram-star influencer nose. It feels like a natural nose.

He dislikes artificial-looking things like alar reduction. He really hates that fish-face look. He dislikes things that are uncomfortable in daily life. He pursues sustainable? surgery. Because he aims for something comfortable without disrupting daily life and harmonious with the eyes, nose, and mouth you already have, depending on the case, some people may feel disappointed that the change isn’t dramatic. But I think he probably does the maximum within the line of not breaking that person’s existing harmony.

I went for consultations two or three times, and since I’m timid, I even brought my mom, but he didn’t show any annoyance and explained things slowly and in detail every time I went. Compared with other hospitals, I thought he was humane and kind, so it was interesting that opinions on his kindness were divided... Personally, he also gave me more of the feeling of an internal medicine doctor or a doctor from another department than a plastic surgeon.

The facilities are old, but it felt like a familiar neighborhood clinic, so I felt comfortable. I think it’s a hundred times better than places with flashy facilities that are only polite in speech.
