Lifting Reviews

Research and decide on procedures as carefully as surgery (thread-lifting side effects)

I think procedures are easy to take lightly and decide on more casually than surgery. These days, especially with the flood of procedure marketing on places like Instagram, it is very easy to encounter information and decide on a procedure without much caution. But after experiencing side effects myself, my perspective changed completely.

Procedures also require just as much research, both online and in person, as surgery. You need to consider the doctor’s skill and aesthetic sense, whether before-and-after photos have been retouched, and so on. I realized that procedures require just as much caution as surgery—or perhaps even more.

Recently I had a thread lift at a place famous on Instagram. As you can see in the photos, my facial contours became uneven, my cheekbones looked larger, and my whole face looked bigger than before. The area I actually wanted to improve was unchanged, while I ended up with new concerns that I did not have before. It was mentally very difficult, and the stress was severe enough to affect my daily life.

But I do not understand why all the clinics had such similar attitudes: “It is all swelling,” “Time will fix it,” and so on. I was really depressed and felt like I wanted to die.

As an aside, there are also many Instagram accounts that claim to provide image consulting and facial analysis while giving information about surgery and procedures. I hope people will not blindly trust that information either. Of course, some people will believe only Instagram marketing even after hearing this, but I feel this experience affected me so deeply that it changed my life.

Anyway, the conclusion is that I hope people never take procedures lightly just because they are not surgery T_T. Please research and decide on procedures as carefully as surgery, or perhaps even more carefully.
