- Consultation satisfaction: GR > DSH > PRT PRT wasn’t bad either, but aside from the doctor’s consultation, I don’t think I can expect much in terms of hospital friendliness, and it felt like the system wasn’t properly organized, so I put it in third place. At DSH, the doctor explained things really well, also did virtual simulation, and spoke in a way that was easy to understand. At GR, the consultant really knew a lot about breasts, and since she had also had surgery directly at the hospital, and explained while showing data and papers, I trusted it a lot. It was also the first hospital that explained side effects in detail and told me to think carefully. If I hadn’t gone there, would I have been able to know this much about the risks? of breast surgery before getting surgery? Would I have had that option? Because I thought that way, I put it as my first choice. Also the way they emphasized postoperative care and talked about AS/warranty. (PRT’s AS is 1 year, but they said things like, in most cases capsular contracture or rupture won’t happen, and even after 1 year the doctor usually handles most cases? It felt too vague. If they’re going to say it like that, wouldn’t it be better to just offer lifetime AS like GR and DSH... if they’re saying they’ll do almost everything anyway.)
But after going to the consultations, one thing I’m worried about is that the cc difference is too big. Considering the doctors recommended the cc they thought would suit my body, honestly the difference is too large, so I don’t know how to choose. When I tried the sizers, 360 felt way too big, but when I heard that once it’s inside the body, it doesn’t feel that heavy or anything, I got swayed too... I’m worried what if I choose 300 and regret it (I asked the GR doctor if I could go bigger, but he refused and said then I’d get grandma breasts, sob.) I still haven’t decided because I’m worrying about that part. I want to do it at GR, but if I do it there I don’t think I can go over 300, and if I do it at DSH, the cc seems the most appropriate and I think the doctor will match everything the way I want, but that makes me worry even more. They leave too much up to me selectively... They say my body would be fine with anything, but I wish they would decide firmly for me. It feels kind of like, just do whatever you like^^ so I’m torn. I wanted to get it within January, but I don’t think it’ll go the way I hoped... I think I need to think about it more
