Nose Surgery Reviews

Is reconstruction of a retracted columella possible?

I had a downturned nose, but while operating on the tip, it seems the surgeon raised my columella… I had said I would use only my septal cartilage, but the surgeon said they also put someone else’s ear cartilage from the clinic into the tip. My nose became upturned and pig-like, so two days after removing the tape, I underwent early correction at the same clinic, paying only the anesthesia fee.

I spent all day, several hours at a time, searching for information about nose surgery. It is really driving me crazy. For revision surgery, I asked them to remove the ear cartilage and make it natural because the nose tip projection had become too high and felt excessively raised compared with the bridge. Even now, after the early correction, it still does not look as though the columella has come down again…

I should have asked them to revise the columella rather than the tip. Since I have already had early correction, they will probably tell me to wait six months before revision surgery… I feel truly miserable.
