It has been a month and a half since I had chin and cheek liposuction! As you can see before surgery, I used to hide my double chin like it was a steamed bun. My body is rather slim, but I had a lot of fat concentrated only in my face, so people thought I was a chubby... person
I was so stressed about my double chin that I really tried everything I could on my chin. Shrinking, fat-dissolving injections, Cinderella injections, extraction injections, and so on - I think I got every kind of injection that can be done on the chin. Of course, I also got Botox regularly! None of those injections worked at all. Shrinking only seemed to work for about a week...
I used to think about getting my jaw shaved down for my whole life, but because I was scared of the side effects of double jaw surgery(?) and because of the cost, I gave up on the dream of contouring surgery and started looking into liposuction! I didn’t go around to a bunch of places, I just got a consultation at one clinic, booked the surgery date right away, and waited for the surgery date. Even during the consultation at this hospital, the doctor said it would be fine to just do the double chin, but I wanted to remove every bit of fat from my face, so I asked them to do my cheeks too!
It was my first surgery, and my first time with sedation anesthesia, so I was really nervous, but I just really lay down on the operating table, got an IV, The IV usually doesn’t hurt after it’s inserted, but it kept hurting, so I was debating whether to say it felt wrong and ask them to take it out and put it in again, then when I opened my eyes after closing them, the surgery was over and I was lying in the recovery room..
The first thing I thought in the recovery room was that my molars... hurt. The jaw pain was just the kind that hurts when touched, and maybe because they had put on the compression band, I thought all my molars had been smashed. And they told me to wear the compression band for two weeks, but I was lazy and only wore it on the first day and then didn’t use it.
On the second day, they told me to remove the tape they had put on my face and chin, so the photo I took right after removing it is the 2-day post-op photo! I was so happy that results showed up right away instead of having to wait several days. It felt like I was living a second life.. Because the jaw was such a huge stress, I didn’t even care about the cheeks.
Now that it’s been a month and a half, customers where I work have said a lot of things like I look prettier, my vibe seems different, and I look like I lost weight! I’m wearing a mask at work too! The real effect is obvious without me even having to explain it if you just look at the photos. People with chubby faces like me, don’t get contouring surgery.. get liposuction!!!!!!!! I still don’t have any sunken cheeks or side effects, but the chin area hurts when touched, so I’m planning to visit the hospital next week Could this... be a side effect...?
Anyway, after chin liposuction I’m really 1000000% satisfied! You know how hospitals lower the price if you write a review, right? There was no mention at all here of writing a review, and the price wasn’t discounted for writing one either! I’m writing this because I really paid out of pocket and am happy, and I hope other people find my post helpful too~
And I was so stressed about my square jaw and chin fat, but once the chin fat disappeared, my jawline naturally became slimmer, so I don’t even think about the square jaw anymore. As I was writing the review, I was so satisfied with my chin that I forgot about the cheeks, but since I didn’t take a front-view photo, I don’t know whether the cheeks... actually had an effect. Anyway, I’m super satisfied with the double chin!!
