My nose was originally a bulbous nose. Actually, after I had eye surgery, I realized my facial issue wasn’t just my eyes. Hmm, I think the more cosmetic surgery you get, the more you notice other issues, and then you want to get more done.
For my nose, I had silicone inserted and cartilage taken from my ear. After surgery, there wasn’t anything hugely uncomfortable. Since I had nose surgery, aside from nasal congestion? and swelling, there wasn’t anything where I thought, wow, this is really too uncomfortable, I can’t handle it. Oh, it was uncomfortable because the area where cartilage was taken from my ear hurt. Sleeping was hard, and I hit my nose hard against the wall while sleeping, and bumped it while doing things, so I feel like my nose got a bit lower, which is disappointing.
They say the major swelling goes down after about a month, but it still looks obvious that you had surgery.
I think I was more swollen because I had other things done too, though.
I’m glad I had rhinoplasty, but I wish it had turned out a bit slimmer and sharper. It’s thicker than I expected, so I’m a little upset. I thought the scar would disappear too, but it’s still there. Still, I like that my nose is getting softer over time, even though I can’t lift it upward. I don’t regret it haha
