It has been three years since surgery. I had rhinoplasty using the septum and ear cartilage (no silicone, only autologous cartilage). The tip originally had some of the ear-cartilage shape, and after three years, now that all the swelling around the tip has completely gone down, that shape is becoming more visible. When I’m not feeling well it turns red and is slightly bothersome, but usually it isn’t red, so I forget about it. Today I looked from underneath and it seemed really too pointy, so... Has anyone had the tip protrude through the skin even after using autologous cartilage? If it isn’t actually protruding, I just want to live with the shape showing through a little.
