After <after removal>After <after removal>After <after removal>Before <before removal><natural nose>I had my septal cartilage and Medpor removed today at 12. I received a lot of help from this community too, so I thought I absolutely had to leave a review if I got them removed! So I’m going to keep posting reviews starting from the same day haha Until the removal, I was really so scared and worried and had every kind of bad thought, but now that they’re removed, I feel relieved. The shape is important too, but I think living without worry is the best thing. Everyone else, please don’t worry too much!!

12:00 - Arrived at the hospital, changed clothes, washed my face, and waited for the director 12:20 - The previous surgery finished late, so I waited, had a consultation with the director, then waited briefly 12:30 - Went into the operating room, got an IV placed in my arm, and waited (I was scared then, but the manager kept talking to me and helped me relax) 2:30 - Came out to the recovery room 2:50 - I woke up from anesthesia, but the director had stepped out for a moment, so I waited and then heard how the surgery went
The thing that makes me the angriest is that they said they would use septal cartilage, but they used it so little that it’s like they did and didn’t use it, and they said they used a large piece of Medpor. I was out of it, so I couldn’t take photos of the implants, but really, the Medpor was about the size of a pinky finger, and the septal cartilage was barely there... sigh. I honestly want to go to the previous hospital and raise hell, but the director said that if anything, it was fortunate that they didn’t use much septal cartilage. After removing the implant, he said my hump was a bit severe (I have a lot to say about this too because they said they would shave down the hump, but looking at the photos, it doesn’t look shaved down at all... sigh). So he slightly rasped the hump and said that because my nasal tip was lifted, he lowered it as much as possible. I was worried about Medpor adhesion, but instead, he said the alar cartilage was severely damaged,, So even after removing the Medpor and looking, it didn’t look red and looked white. That showed the adhesion wasn’t severe, but I am a little worried about the alar cartilage damage Sigh, I was out of it at the hospital, so after coming home I looked at my nostrils, and they are slightly uneven. Still, they said it’s not very noticeable to other people, so I’m going to think it will even out over time. Also, after my first surgery, all kinds of bruising and swelling were severe from the same day, but now, except for the bruising inside my nose, there’s no bruising and no swelling. It’s surprising haha. I was worried about bruising and swelling, so I iced it the whole way home haha Now I’m going to focus on taking care of my body!!
Rather than looking at too many bad reviews, I think the best thing is for everyone to find a hospital you can trust!!
