Before<surgery before>After<surgery after>Well... since my original nose was so rare that it was hard to find even in Korea, I don’t regret having surgery. But when I had my consultation before surgery, I understood that we would proceed with ear cartilage for the nasal tip and silicone for the nasal bridge (even back then, I knew my nose condition well, so I asked for something safely low rather than raising it excessively). Recently, because my nose seemed to be gradually and subtly deforming and lifting, whether from contracture or a tendency to return to how it used to be, I had a CT scan, and there was a huge L-shaped silicone implant in there, big enough to be too much for my face haha. The two hospitals I consulted about this did say it would probably be better to remove it in advance (it’s not an emergency yet), but I’m really torn. For an upturned and low nose like mine, I haven’t seen many examples of what happens after removal haha. Even if I get revision surgery again with autologous tissue, there’s no guarantee it will turn out well Please be careful with rhinoplasty.. For reference, I think this happened because I went somewhere cheap and nearby haha
