A few years ago, I started getting laser hair removal on my upper lip and underarms together. My hair was already thick and strong, so I knew 5 sessions wouldn’t be enough and planned for more than 10 sessions from the start. I moved around to different clinics, choosing the most cost-effective places. I don’t think the results vary that much from clinic to clinic either. For the first 10 sessions, I tried to receive it consistently once a month. After 10 sessions, the hairs grew like fine downy hair. After that, I think I took a break from hair removal for more than 1-2 years? When I did, about 3-4 thicker-looking hairs appeared. So I got 5 additional sessions. Now the hairs look like fine downy hair again (to the point where you really have to look closely), and sometimes it seems like 1-2 hairs grow, so when it’s not too bothersome, I just quickly shave them with a razor. If I see hairs that bother me again next time, I plan to keep getting additional sessions. I’m very satisfied with the procedure.
