When getting revision nasal surgery, I used to think a lot that I wanted to use autologous tissue because I thought removing the silicone and using my own tissue would prevent inflammation from remaining, but I heard that autologous tissue leaves scars during the harvesting process... I'm wondering whether the difference in inflammation between autologous and donated tissue is big enough to be worth accepting that
