First of all, I had incisional double-eyelid surgery 10 years ago, but it started loosening from 2 years ago, so I lived with uneven eyes and ended up getting revision surgery. My right and left eyes were very uneven, I had a lot of fat, and the distance between my eyebrows and eyes is on the narrow side.
When I consulted with the director, I said I wanted the line a bit bigger, but because the space between my eyes and eyebrows is narrow, it was not possible, and he refused, saying I would 100% regret it if we did that So he said he would make it slightly larger based on the eye that had not loosened. I also asked about the epicanthoplasty scar, and he said touching it would make it look stranger. Instead, he said he would reduce the step-off with laser treatment and included it as a service with the double-eyelid surgery cost. He honestly told me that since the scar is already 10 years old, one session probably would not be enough, and he said he would take good care of the follow-up management at a reasonable cost.

*Before surgery* I went with my parents, checked the design again, and then went straight into surgery. They said that once the sedative goes in, you count from 1 to 50, but I think I passed out at around 2 The surgery took about an hour, and it was done while I kept opening my eyes in between so they could check the line. I was nervous and out of it, so I do not remember the details very well..
*After surgery* Day 1 (9/27) After the surgery ended and the anesthesia wore off, I had a dull, aching pain for about 2-3 hours, but after taking the prescribed medicine, it got better. At home, I did cold compresses, applied ointment, and slept using a high pillow.
Day 2 (9/28) The day right after surgery, I visited the hospital for laser treatment to manage swelling and pain. They explained swelling care again at that time too, and told me to apply the ointment well and keep taking the medicine because there could be scarring and pain. Also, since I tend to have a bit of swelling, they gave me a swelling-reduction injection(?). They said that if I wanted laser treatment before suture removal, I could come in anytime.
Day 7 (10/3) Maybe because I was so worried before getting the sutures removed, it hurt less than I expected. I was told to take good care of it because there was still bruising and swelling. Also, after suture removal, I had to apply scar ointment, and they said I could buy it at a regular pharmacy, so I bought it cheaply at a regular pharmacy. They told me to apply it twice a day for about 6 months, so I have been applying it diligently.
Day 29 (10/25) Right now, the swelling has gone down a lot, and the bruising is almost all gone. People around me keep telling me the line is really pretty and that the double-eyelid surgery turned out really well!!! Thank you so much for doing it so beautifully.
