It felt like I had gained a new life haha” Then, about 2 years later, only one side came undone, so I had only the undone side done with the standard buried suture method!
At the time, I asked the director doing the revision surgery, “My first surgery was non-incisional ptosis correction on both sides, but is it okay to do just the buried suture method on the side that came undone and not do ptosis correction?” They said it didn’t matter, so I just proceeded with the standard buried suture method on only one side! After that, the side from the first surgery still has the same feeling as before, like something is pulling the eye upward? But the revised side just feels like nothing..? And the line ended up slightly lower than my original eye, but I don’t know if this is because of the ptosis correction or what.. I wonder if this pulling? feeling on the original first-surgery side is because the line is higher... or if the revised side has no feeling because the line is lower...
These days I’ve been going around for revision surgery consultations, and at every place I consult, they don’t recommend ptosis correction and say it doesn’t matter if I don’t do it? They say it probably isn’t needed for my current eyes.. So from what I feel, one side is still in the original non-incisional ptosis correction state from the first surgery, and the revised side was just done with standard buried sutures. If I get revision surgery on both sides again, should I just go with standard buried sutures.. or should I get revision surgery while doing ptosis correction again on both sides.. It’s so hard, I don’t know what’s right... When I went for consultations for my first surgery with monolids, they recommended ptosis correction a lot because I strongly used my forehead to open my eyes, but all the places I recently went to didn’t recommend ptosis correction.. Is there anyone like me..
