It’s late, but I’m posting a review from when it had been about a month after surgery! Before getting surgery, I was very worried because there were many reviews saying the eyes get very swollen and painful, but during the first week after surgery, it was just a little bruising around the eyes and some itchiness, so it passed more easily than I expected~ By day 9, most of the bruising around my eyes had gone down, so I was able to go outside, and the uncomfortable stitches were removed when I visited the clinic on day 10. When removing the stitches, I had expected it to hurt, but maybe because it was around the eyes, it hurt more than I thought.. I think you should brace yourself a little when you go to have the stitches removed. Before stitch removal, my eyes were still swollen, so I was worried the swelling wouldn’t go down, but after removing the stitches, the itchiness in my eyes definitely decreased a lot, and the swelling in my eyes started going down quickly. By day 11, I could work outside to some extent and return to normal daily life. The outer corners of my eyes looked red, so it was obvious I had surgery, but thankfully it had stabilized enough that it didn’t look unpleasant to others, and if I wore glasses, it wasn’t particularly something I paid attention to. Now it has been one month, and maybe because recovery is not complete yet, a little eye discharge still forms, and the area around my eyes has become very dry, so it only stings occasionally. Since it was the one-month mark, I visited the clinic once and had the doctors check my surgical progress. They said the surgery went well and that it should be fine once the swelling goes down properly, so I felt relieved. I asked about the occasional stinging around my eyes, and they said it was because the surgical area was too dry and told me to keep it well moisturized. So in the morning and before sleeping, I apply plenty of moisturizing cream around my eyes once, and the stinging definitely decreases. If anyone has the same symptoms, I think this might help as a reference! The swelling in my double eyelids has gone down somewhat now, and compared with before surgery and right after surgery, it has definitely improved a lot, enough to make up for the hard parts after surgery. I’m satisfied~ There isn’t much content, but I hope it helps others~
