Eye Re-Surgery

Revision double-eyelid surgery swelling is the lowest ever

I had surgery last Saturday, and now 7 days have passed!!!

This was already my fourth time lying down because of my eyes, but after double-eyelid surgery, I had never once used an ice pack or taken my meds properly before. This time, I followed the routine properly: I did cold compresses for 3-4 minutes, took them off, rested for 30 minutes, then did it again. Around when the bruising started to spread, I switched to warm compresses, and the bruises got smaller in real time... For my nose, even when I managed swelling really intensely, my facial swelling didn’t go down well, but maybe because the surgical area for double-eyelid surgery is small, just doing it well for three days had such a good effect.

For double-eyelid surgery, there isn’t even anything huge you need to buy. In my experience, pain from double-eyelid surgery lasts just one or two days, so you can just take what the clinic prescribed. If you have pumpkin juice or potassium supplements that help regulate sodium in the body, you can take them, but I don’t think you need to go out of your way to buy them. Compresses are just the real hit!!!

What I wanted to say is that everyone getting double-eyelid surgery doesn’t need to spend money buying supplies, and just taking good care of compresses is enough. For your head, stacking pillows for just two or three days is exactly enough. During my first double-eyelid surgery, I slept sitting up for a week but because I didn’t do compresses, the swelling was seriously awful
