It has been 2 years since my nose surgery, and I originally had a bulbous nose. My nasal bridge was not on the low side, and I decided to get nose surgery because I did not like my nasal tip. But the nasal tip actually got bigger, and like a hump nose, the nasal tip is drooping. The one thing I like is that after alar reduction, the bulbous-nose feeling disappeared when viewed from the front. During the consultation, I was worried that lowering the columella would make my nose look long and make me look older, so I only had it brought out very slightly.
This revision surgery is also because of the nasal tip. If I go for a straight-with-slight-curve line, I think the columella needs to be brought out more to get the nose shape I want. One thing I am worried about is that my nose is not short even now. If I want it to look less long, should I lower the nasal height a bit more? Right now I have 5 mm Gore-Tex placed, but it has absorbed a lot. For revision surgery, I also wonder whether silicone might be low enough, and when I touch it, Gore-Tex feels like it is absorbing into the flesh lol Oh, and is osteotomy unrelated to the nasal tip? If I use silicone, I also wonder if lowering the height more would make it show through less. Please give me advice! The doctor said silicone shows under light, so he recommended Gore-Tex. And because of money, I am going to have the revision at the same hospital where I had the first surgery.. In the photo below, the nasal tip looks less droopy, but when seen from the other side, the tip is blunt and drooping.
