I had a consultation for liposuction because the fat on the back of my upper arms concerned me more than the front. I explained that when I lower my arms, the back line bulges out, which stresses me when wearing short sleeves. They checked not only the entire circumference of my arms but also the area toward the back and near the armpits as one connected region. They explained that areas with more fat and areas where the skin looks loose should be assessed separately. I also asked about the process of swelling reduction after surgery and when arm movement would become comfortable. It felt like they examined the range more minutely than I expected, so after the consultation it was easier to organize the line I wanted.
