When I first said I was getting facial contouring, even my friends tried to stop me, asking why I’d bother But a personal complex is something only I feel because I look in the mirror every day, right? Small asymmetry, uneven lines, things like that.... Overall my face looked slim, but I felt like my cheekbones and front chin were a little long, and I thought that stood out especially in photos ㅇㅇ As someone who likes dressing up and is really interested in beauty and aesthetics, I just couldn’t tolerate it.. So I ended up getting 2 procedures
I was also thinking about quick cheekbone reduction because I thought having pins left in would bother me, but they said my kind of cheekbones wouldn’t see much effect, so I quickly backed out and looked for a place that would really focus on the posterior cheekbones and 45-degree cheekbones. I really think facial contouring can look natural or more dramatic depending on tiny differences in angles, separated by the slightest margin, so I absolutely wanted to avoid hospitals that just roughly cut and paste. When I went for consultations, there was also a place that told me to get square jaw surgery together, but that place was seriously.. No matter how interested I am in looking good, I’m not stupid I filtered out places that were obviously pushing overtreatment, and sorry, but I also passed on places that only told me to go natural no matter what.. because I felt they didn’t match my style (I think this is a matter of personal preference)
Until I paid the deposit, I kept debating between two places, and to put only the result simply, I’m satisfied. Early after surgery I asked my friends for objective brutal honesty on whether it looked well done, and they all said it didn’t look awkward and that it turned out well. Maybe I was lucky, but for facial contouring my swelling wasn’t severe either, so it went down quickly enough that I could return to daily life after a week. From around day 4, I diligently took the 3 types of swelling medication early on, and I think that helped a lot. At first, I really ate only soft foods as if I were dieting, and maybe thanks to that effort, even on the CT there were no separated areas and the cheekbones were well attached
Thinking about it now, if I had done the square jaw together too, it would have made my jaw too overly tapered and wouldn’t have suited me, so I feel like it was good that I kept thinking it over several times before surgery;; Everyone, please refer to lots of reviews, but don’t lose your own judgment.... Facial contouring isn’t something that happens overnight. I really hope you do a lot, a lot of in-person consultations too
