Most people would probably ask why I got surgery when I already developed double eyelids, but as you can see in the photos above, the line looked so awkwardly set as an outline crease that it would have been better if it had not appeared at all, and my eyes looked so tired. During the consultation, I also decided to get my originally concerning hollow under-eye area treated together with under-eye fat repositioning and under-eye fat grafting.
After getting the surgery, I definitely felt that the under-eye hollowness that made me look tired and older, together with the suddenly formed outline crease, played a big part in people saying I looked tired and older...
If you look at my progress photos, even right after surgery, although it was incisional ptosis correction, there was not much swelling, and only the areas where I had under-eye fat repositioning and under-eye fat grafting had small bruises. It just felt like I had gotten a procedure?
After a week, the bruises turned yellow, and the swelling in each eye went down differently, so the lines looked slightly different, but compared with other people, I had less swelling. By week 2, the yellow bruising had faded, and by week 3, the bruises were not visible at all lol
Now at one month, the swelling along the line has definitely gone down a lot compared with week 1. The major swelling seems to have gone down much faster than I expected, but the minor swelling feels like it will go down faster only with more time and if I diligently go for walks. I am satisfied because I think it will have the natural but slightly glamorous feel I wanted!
What I still remember is that during the pre-surgery consultation, the director marked my double eyelid line in 3 stages and carefully examined everything while trying to match my needs as much as possible. That is what I remember the most!
The under-eye fat grafting is settling well, so once it settles just a little more, I think it will look even more natural. Of course, I am satisfied even now, and I had wondered whether to get my whole face done too, but I regret not doing it lol
