Before surgery, the tip of my nose had been absorbed, so I got revision surgery because I was a bit greedy, but compared to before, the swelling was much worse and there was so much bleeding, so I suspected something might have gone wrong.
On the day the splint was removed, wow, anyone could see this was crazy. This is swelling? I had a strong feeling that it seemed like blood pooling. In the end, it really was blood pooling, and because it was severe, I had non-open lavage. During the recovery process, blood also flowed like a waterfall.
A week later, when the splint was removed, it seemed better than before, but that didn’t mean the swelling between my eyebrows had become thin. Still, they said it had gotten better, and since I live outside Seoul, I took the train home, but on the way my nose started swelling again...
In the end, I went back to Seoul the next day and had a drain inserted, but this was just... The swelling kept getting bigger and only blood kept pouring out, and since there was no effect at all, they eventually said either removal or non-open lavage. Honestly, I didn’t have the confidence to live after removing it, and the doctor said it was at a level that would improve after lavage, so I trusted him and left it to him. It ended up being like I was getting sleep anesthesia once a week...
For the second non-open lavage, they only compressed it with taping. After day 10, I removed it at home, but when I saw the shape of my nose, I was disappointed again... Okay, the swelling between my eyebrows was better than before. But this time it’s the tip of my nose... The nasal ala? is asymmetrical, the tip of my nose is slightly crooked, and it wasn’t smooth... The manager in charge said it was swelling, so I held out until the day the stitches were removed.
Finally, the day to remove the stitches. I even imagined that once the stitches were removed, the swelling would go down all at once... haha But they told me it seems like inflammation, due to frequent bleeding, and that contracture could happen, so I should take medication for contracture?.. They clearly said it was clean at the time of lavage..
And a few days ago, inside my nose, acne? A pimple? something like that appeared. They said it could be inflammation because of that. It didn’t hurt even when I touched it..
Anyway, because of that, I’m taking 3 months’ worth of contracture medication... It feels like once one thing improves, something else becomes a problem... And it’s not like the shape of my nose is pretty either... It’s crooked now and even asymmetrical, so I’m dissatisfied.
Would it be right to remove it?.. Or would it be right to take contracture medication for 3 months and wait?.. But I wonder if contracture medication will even be effective. That’s also questionable
