Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Sharing my review of getting 3 types of contouring for a doll-like line

Before before <This is a pre-op photo> After <2-week swelling lol it was kind of cute in its own way> After after after <Post-op photos lol> I kept putting off writing this, and when I finally came to my senses, it had already been 8 months since surgery lol Honestly, plastic surgery is... not something I can loudly brag about to people around me, like “I got facial contouring” and aside from close friends, almost no one knows I had contouring, so I’ll sort of brag here and share a little about my experience I had 3 procedures: cheekbones, long-curve jaw contouring, and anterior chin, and what I was most curious about before contouring was pain I thought it would be nice if it were painless, but honestly, saying it didn’t hurt at all would be a lie.. lol For a few hours after I came out of surgery, my throat was extremely dry and stung because of the anesthesia, and because of the lingering anesthesia, I kept getting sleepy even after surgery, but they told me not to sleep Honestly, the day of surgery was so hectic that now, thinking back, I barely even remember how I got through it lol But maybe my memory is being romanticized or something, because when I think about it now, it feels like it wasn’t that terrible? Like that lol

Some people said it hurt, others said no, they got lucky and it was painless, but honestly, I don’t think there’s any surgery that doesn’t hurt at all.... Whatever it is, even a minimal incision still involves an incision, so being completely painless after surgery? < I just find that amazing.... Anyway, the first day passed quickly and then it was the next day. Once the anesthesia had definitely worn off and a day had passed, I felt a bit more clear-headed. I think the throbbing in my face lasted until the evening (I was whining a lot to my friends on KakaoTalk) but after sleeping and waking up in the morning, maybe I got used to it or maybe it subsided, it got a lot better?? Instead, when I was lying down and tried to get up, if I used strength, it felt a bit like blood was rushing there?? Because of that kind of feeling, I recommend having someone you live with help you sit up, or buying a zero-gravity chair.... I was discharged right after the blood drain was removed, and as for the drain removal that I was most worried about, I remember it wasn’t very painful, aside from feeling slightly strange!

I saw somewhere that pumpkin juice doesn’t have much effect and only makes you gain weight, so I thought forget everything else, I’ll just focus on walking, and I walked frequently morning and evening. That, that thing, I suddenly can’t remember the name, but there’s a phone app, you know? Using that, I kept walking 5 km, 10 km, and so on, and as the swelling went down, I could clearly see my facial line changing. Honestly, if I had to pick the most uncomfortable thing after facial contouring, I’d answer food without even thinking for 1 second.. lololol Chewy and hard foods? Absolutely out of the question, and I think I mainly ate steamed eggs, ice cream, thin rice porridge, things like that. Until now, I thought I wasn’t particularly greedy about food, but when a person can’t get all the essential nutrients evenly, psychologically it’s really... hard I tried to eat as many different things as possible, bought and ate different kinds of ice cream, and made every dish I could make with eggs. I think I started regular food after 3 weeks. Even when I say regular food, because I was afraid something might go wrong, I was just mixing rice into soup and cutting noodles up with scissors, that level.. lololol

At first, I managed swelling really intensely, but after about two months, I unknowingly started neglecting the care. Maybe that’s just me.. lololol As time passed, eating became easier, and when I looked in the mirror, the swelling kept going down too, so later on it became just something I remembered from time to time, like, oh right, I had facial contouring...??

There are many hospitals that are good at facial contouring... I also had quite a hard time looking into them, but the more you’re looking for a doll-like line like I was, the more I think it’s important to check whether they properly consider the location of the nerve line and whether they fix the cheekbones well. Also, among friends around me who had L-shaped osteotomy, quite a few saw no effect at all and eventually had revision surgery, so if it’s a place that does fixation reliably, I think a trapezoid osteotomy isn’t bad either!! I hope everyone can finish facial contouring successfully with as little pain as possible
