My teeth were generally fairly even, but I started because I wanted to correct even a little bit of one snaggletooth and the protruding-mouth look that made my lower face always look pouty I treated everything that needed treatment before starting orthodontics, and you should begin with the expectation that those costs will make it more expensive The orthodontic treatment was always done by a female doctor, and she was calm and had a good personality, so I came back feeling good after every treatment She was very attentive and explained things well, which was nice It took longer than I expected, but in the end I’m satisfied that my tooth alignment changed evenly That said, the protruding-mouth look was not completely improved, and I think I can say it’s just not as excessively bothersome as before If your tooth alignment is not severe, the downside of having to wear a retainer for life to maintain it feels too big, and if you do not pay attention, the teeth immediately spread apart and shift, so I don’t necessarily recommend orthodontic treatment I would only recommend it to people who feel that their tooth alignment is very bad and causes major discomfort in daily life
