It’s been a month and a half since I had double eyelid surgery, It’s not that it looks like sausage eyelids or too intense, so I think it failed.
I asked them to make the in-out line as high as possible, and the design was done that way too. Even during the surgery, the director said, “large in-out,” while operating, and said that once the swelling went down, it would come out according to the line they marked..
I was so anxious that even on the day I went in to have the stitches removed and check the progress, I told the director, and they said I’m the type who doesn’t swell much, and that they really did set the in-out line high, ha..
I felt anxious from the very day of surgery.. But still, until last week? it just looked like a thin in-out line, so I was just hoping, please don’t get any thinner from here..
But today, when I looked, one eye has just become an inner double eyelid lol lol The other eye is also extremely thin. I’m so annoyed and dumbfounded that tears won’t even come out, I can only laugh lololol
The fact that it became an inner double eyelid is one thing, but if the line is this thin, it shouldn’t be noticeable, yet when I close my eyes, the scar/indentation marks are so visible, functionally, I now get eye discharge way too often, and the area around my eyes has become brownish pigmented…
I really spent almost 4 months because of this double eyelid surgery, you know..? I spent 2 months going to consultations and worrying over and over, and after surgery, almost 2 months getting rid of the swelling and bruising..
I did it with my parents’ money.. They’re not exactly happy that I wasted this much time like this, and I also feel so pathetic myself.. All I can think about is revision surgery. I keep thinking, is this what I get for losing 4 months? Ha.. They did say that if I need revision surgery, they’ll let me do it, but I feel so uncomfortable bringing it up again.
I don’t even want to contact or argue with the clinic. Even if I go, they’ll probably just say, “We did set the in-out line high,” and won’t admit anything..
My self-esteem about my appearance is already terribly low, and since even one double eyelid surgery didn’t go the way I wanted, I’m honestly getting so severely depressed, and I don’t even want to go outside.
