I had double-eyelid surgery with a partial incision eight years ago, and one side has come undone for several years.. Because my inner eye corners were also asymmetrical, I visited the clinic considering revision medial canthoplasty. The consultation took about 30 minutes, and I waited about 20 minutes (perhaps because I arrived 30 minutes early). It felt like they consulted carefully and kindly. The initial consultation with the coordinator started quickly, but I waited around 15 minutes by my estimate for the doctor’s consultation.. Because of this, I was 30 minutes late to another clinic consultation.. T_T They recommended non-incisional natural adhesion, saying that if aging progresses I will eventually consider revision anyway, and an incision would make future revision burdensome (incision is possible if desired). They said this clinic increases fixation strength by fixing through 12 holes. According to the clinic, the chance of an incision coming undone is 3% and natural adhesion is 5%. Since it was my first consultation, I just thought, ‘Oh, I see,’ and moved on, but the natural-adhesion method does seem different from other clinics. It did not feel extremely factory-like, but there seem to be many reviews saying it feels like a factory? Still, I liked that swelling lasers and injections are unlimited, and the warranty period for natural adhesion is one year longer than at other clinics. It was also definitely cheaper than other clinics (the chief director charges the regular price, but when I chose Doctor A, they gave me a large discount). They did not overrecommend anything and seemed to discuss only what they thought was necessary. When I said I was considering lateral canthoplasty because I wanted larger eyes, they cut me off and said it was unnecessary. I wanted a consultation with Chief Director Doctor B, but ended up consulting Doctor A... Still, I think Doctor A creates pretty lines. Has anyone had revision surgery with Doctor A? T_T
