I’m easily swayed, so I was just nodding along as the director explained, but I liked that they paused midway and checked once more whether I understood. They said that with septal cartilage and ear cartilage alone, the nasal tip can’t be raised, so it’s important to raise the nasal tip with costal cartilage. Whether to use autologous costal cartilage or donated costal cartilage is my choice. After hearing the explanation, I said I wanted autologous costal cartilage. No need for alar base reduction. They said my issue is not the nostril wings but a blunt nasal tip, and that improving this area by making it more projected would help. *Kindness - The consultant and desk staff were fine. It didn’t feel pressuring, nor did it feel like the explanation was lacking. The consultant re-explained the diagnosis I had heard, discussed the cost, and ended things plainly. Rather, the director was the kindest and explained the longest.

When I said I wanted this kind of look, they didn’t just agree to everything unconditionally, but told me what would and wouldn’t suit me based on the condition of my nose and my facial features. Since my nasal bridge isn’t extremely low, they recommended surgery closer to a natural look rather than making it dramatic. But they said the nasal tip needs costal cartilage. They said if only ear cartilage or septal cartilage is used alone, there is a high chance the nasal tip will droop, so they recommended autologous costal cartilage from the beginning. The director is gentle, but tends to be clear about what can’t be done. *Kindness - This was also a place where the director’s consultation was longer. If the total consultation time was about 30 minutes, you can think of it as the director seeing me for 20 minutes. I did think it was okay, but the wait was too long, and even when I searched here, people said the wait was long, so I wonder whether communication after surgery would be good..

*CT O, wait 50 minutes-1 hour (seriously, I almost ran out of patience..) *Diagnosis - bulbous nose correction, alar base reduction, autologous costal cartilage, silicone *Consultation details - I have a strong bulbous-nose look and my nostril wings look spread out, so this was the only place that recommended alar reduction. They recommended a dramatic surgery to get rid of the bulbous nose. So they immediately recommended autologous costal cartilage. Unlike the previous hospitals, there was no explanation like the septal cartilage is insufficient.. or there is a risk of drooping.. They just recommended autologous costal cartilage, so I was slightly flustered Still, the director was kind and continued the consultation by asking at the end whether I had any questions. I was already exhausted from the waiting time.. Honestly, hospitals 1 and 2 also had a lot of people, but because I waited the longest here, I was already completely drained, so I felt uneasy, like I hadn’t really received the consultation properly.. The consultant was kind, but there was a slight push to book. At the desk? they also saw me off, and even then they kept asking me to contact them. *Kindness - Considering there were many people and it was hectic, most people were kind, but when taking the CT, I felt a bit left alone, and the long wait was hard.
