Before before before after before before I had a protruding lower jaw since I was young, so I was teased and had a very severe complex about it. I tried orthodontic treatment to fix it and even had jaw surgery to reduce the length of my chin, but it had no effect at all. Thinking about it now, I should have had double-jaw surgery sooner, even one year younger, when there would have been less sagging, but I felt like I had wasted too much time and money. So I had double-jaw surgery and two types of facial contouring surgery, including revision genioplasty, at Y Oral Surgery. And now it’s already been... 3 months since the surgery haha
Interestingly, exactly half of the sensation has come back a lot now. The sensation on the right side has returned a lot, so when it itches and I scratch it, it feels refreshing, but the sensation on the left side is still slow to return, and if I let my guard down, I drool, and I don’t notice even if something gets on my chin Be careful when eating out.. I can chew things like pickled radish in kimbap, and I can easily eat meat like thinly sliced pork belly. I still have a double chin and swelling, but at this level I can definitely go about daily life. People around me say I’ve become much prettier and more feminine, and the reactions are good. I had temporarily changed positions because of the surgery, and when I returned to my original position, many people didn’t recognize me. They only recognized me after hearing my voice and talking to me I should have done it earlier... It’s even harder because of the braces, but I live by holding it in because I’m getting prettier. Sometimes there’s a tingling pain, but it’s all at a tolerable level. Between one and two months, I was really worried because the swelling wasn’t going down well, but at three months, a lot of the major swelling has gone down, so when I wear makeup and go out, it just feels like my own face. I don’t even remember my old face.. Time is the medicine, whether it’s swelling or mental stress. I hope everyone succeeds. Don’t let the swelling shake you mentally.
