I am writing a review about XX Plastic Surgery located near Gangnam Station. On December 17, 2023, I underwent cosmetic procedures such as hump nose correction and bulbous nose improvement together at XX Plastic Surgery.
Before surgery, I had sufficient explanations and discussions about the surgical method over 3 sessions with the counseling manager + director, and the surgery proceeded accordingly. However, as shown in the photos, far from improving, the bulbous nose became more swollen and larger, and as time passed, the nasal tip of the hump nose drooped downward, so I did not see the surgical result I had originally expected.
So I complained to the clinic, and unlike what they had said during the preoperative consultation, that if there was an objective abnormality except in cases caused by the patient’s fault, they would perform revision surgery free of charge, they demanded 1.2 million won in revision surgery costs under the name of disinfection fees. The director looked at my nose and, saying that a nose at this level was a success, laughed and showed great doubt about the revision consultation.
Through later consultations, I continued to express dissatisfaction with the first surgery, and at the same time, when I complained about the aftercare method that had changed before and after surgery, only after a few days did the counseling manager say, “We will not charge for the revision surgery and will perform revision surgery again.” If you complained to a clinic that tried to charge revision surgery costs under the name of disinfection fees, and only then they said they would not charge revision surgery costs, so come and they would do revision surgery, would everyone be able to receive revision surgery there?
Naturally, I found it difficult to trust the director’s surgical skill, and because I was disappointed by the inconsistent aftercare attitude, I decided not to undergo revision surgery at this clinic. I continued to complain to XX Plastic Surgery for failure in cosmetic improvement of the hump nose, bulbous nose, etc., and after I left my surgery reviews about the clinic several times on Naver plastic surgery communities and plastic surgery-related apps, what came back was the certification of contents from the clinic shown above.
I recommend that you do not write postoperative photo reviews under the pretext that the clinic gives you a surgery fee discount. If you write one, you won’t be able to complain when you are dissatisfied, like me. If you already wrote that you were satisfied at 4 weeks and 3 months, that becomes evidence, and you cannot complain. And why do plastic surgery clinics only have good reviews, while negative reviews keep getting deleted? How do members of plastic surgery viral marketing teams promote clinics?
