I had worn contact lenses for about 10 years, my eyesight was very bad, and I had severe astigmatism, so I was always stressed about how I looked wearing glasses My eyes looked so much smaller too.. That's why I decided to have surgery
My vision was about -8 including myopia and astigmatism, with moderate-to-high astigmatism, corneal thickness 590, and pupil size around 7, so they said I might have some glare/halos, but I already had them to begin with, so it didn't matter
Because of my astigmatism, I had been thinking of LASEK rather than LASIK, and I went ahead with it that way Everyone around me said it hurt, so I was really worried, but for me it didn't hurt much, to the point that I wondered if the surgery had really been done
So far, I don't think my vision has completely stabilized yet, but they said I need to watch it for about a month, so I'm waiting slowly. The vision recovery in my left eye seems slower than the right. It seems like a little astigmatism is still left too
It still feels like I'm wearing contact lenses, and I can't get used to it lol But when I can read the letters on signs far away, it's so fascinating. Even if I could go back, I think I'd do it again I'll leave another review later
