I had consultations at 3 places for revision eye surgery, and I was almost set on doing it at one of them. When I looked on BBT, it said the director had 10 years of experience, so I thought, well, that should be okay, but that was the doctor’s overall experience. It turns out their specialist experience is only just over 5 years now. Now in their 6th year. The reviews seem okay, and when I saw a personal review posted on a blog and asked in a private comment, this director was there too. Most of all, during the consultation, they understood exactly what I thought about my eyes, so I thought I should do it there, but after seeing the specialist experience, I’m suddenly wavering Should I pass on someone with 5 years as a specialist? Or can I trust the reviews and consultation and go ahead? For now, I urgently booked more consultations elsewhere too, but I’m torn
