I’m in my mid-40s.. If you say I’m still young, I guess I’m young, right? Compared with people my age, my eyes drooped early and looked deeply sunken. That was the kind of eyes I had, so the process of looking for a hospital for my first surgery was not easy. I was recommended upper and lower blepharoplasty, fat grafting, and other procedures that acquaintances my age usually weren’t getting.
I also had a consultation at the hospital where I had my revision surgery now, and at the time I thought another hospital’s design looked prettier, so I went ahead with surgery there. In the end, I regret it though. I went through with upper and lower blepharoplasty, eye-shape correction, sub-brow excision, and fat grafting, really trying to change everything in a big way, but what I got was sausage-like eyelids and a high line When I closed my eyes, there was even a stepped crease, so I had a very hard time.
I told my husband and acquaintances that we should somehow look carefully for a hospital for revision surgery, that it was too hard, and I went back to a hospital near Gangnam that I regretted not going to before. I should have gone there from the start. Back then, because I was even a little younger, rather than skill, my top priority was a line I liked and a design that pulled things prettily, but looking back now, I regret why I did that The director also came, looked at my eyes, and said my eyes had really changed from back then and that he felt upset too.. Because it was revision surgery, the consultation felt like it lasted about an hour. Maybe it was because he had also seen my eyes before. From what he said, he seemed to mean that this wouldn’t happen there, that he had focused on this one field for so long and knew it thoroughly, and that if I really wanted a good result, I shouldn’t be greedy and should make it natural and suited to my eyes
So I had surgery again: lowering the high line and using an incisional surgery to cut the areas adhered to the skin. Now that a lot of time has passed, my eyes have been cleaned up really neatly. The painful scars from the first surgery are still there.. but still, I’m living thinking that I’m happy enough because my eyes came back to eyes that feel like mine again.
For middle-aged plastic surgery, please don’t get too greedy about everything, and only get what you truly need for yourself. When I had sausage-like eyelids, it was really hard, so I really wanted to tell everyone this.
This is a surgical review pursuing reconstruction.
