About two months after surgery, most of the major swelling has gone down. Other than slight pain when I press them, I’m doing quite well and am even wearing makeup occasionally. When I had surgery about ten years ago, I didn’t know much and my eyes looked a little sausage-like, so this time I chose a natural result, thinking it wouldn’t be very noticeable with makeup. But people around me still all noticed, didn’t they? I was worried that my eyes looked sleepy and stuffy even though I had double eyelids, but people say my eyes look clearer now, so I feel I made the right decision!! From other people’s experiences, they say it becomes quite natural after about six months, so I’m still taking care of them by regularly drinking swelling-reducing tea! It’s kind of fun watching them change little by little each month.
