I had two revision rhinoplasties, and the third time I developed contracture. I thought about going to Seoul, but transportation and lodging costs were too burdensome, and even just going for consultations was exhausting, so I had it done in Busan. I went to consultations at two places that do autologous costal cartilage, and this was the second place I consulted. As soon as I had the consultation, I just felt this was the place, and I think the consultation alone lasted over 30 minutes. The director was extremely kind.
Since I was going to be lying down after nose surgery anyway, I also proceeded with forehead fat grafting. My nose had become too short and the contracture was severe, so even after COVID ended I kept wearing a mask, and it was really emotionally difficult, but I’m very satisfied. I haven’t done the second round of fat grafting yet, but doing the forehead too seems to have raised my satisfaction even more.
I think I made the right choice not going to Seoul. I’m satisfied with the money, time, and result.
