I had double jaw surgery and two types of facial contouring surgery (square jaw_front chin) at Y Oral Surgery in early January~ Now, at 6 months, I’m managing well while also undergoing orthodontic treatment! When I see the progress with the director, he says the surgery went extremely well, and I can visibly see that my face shape has changed a lot compared to before In the past, whenever I took side-view photos, I was busy covering or hiding my jaw because of malocclusion Recently, that has happened much less, and I’ve been living with more confidence Because of that, I no longer avoid taking photos with friends. What I really feel about double jaw surgery is that aftercare is truly important; I think things like sagging skin or maintaining a smooth jawline depend on how well each person manages themselves! I’m reflecting on that too and trying to manage my weight as well! Right now I’m living very, very satisfied, and I’m living so happily that I don’t even remember what I looked like before I’m also looking forward to whether I’ll become really pretty if I keep managing diligently and my jawline becomes even more defined than now! Appearance isn’t everything, but my tooth alignment is also changing correctly, so although chewing food feels awkward, I don’t get indigestion as often anymore, and I’m also happy that I can bite off certain foods! I’m very satisfied both in terms of appearance and in terms of living with my teeth now!
